In recognition of National Association of REALTORS® REALTOR® Safety Month, Rybak Realty hosted a local safety seminar at the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce on September 18, 2026. The event brought together real estate professionals, community members, and public safety representatives for an interactive discussion focused on personal safety, situational awareness, self-care, and the unique risks faced by real estate professionals while working in the field.

The two-hour seminar featured three local guest speakers: Lieutenant David Pienta with the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office; Gabrielle Vollertsen with the Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement, and Fred Nichols of Collectable Arms. Attendees were encouraged to participate throughout the program by asking questions, sharing experiences, and discussing practical approaches to staying safe while meeting clients, showing properties, working alone, and conducting day-to-day business. The seminar was open to licensed Florida real estate agents, with professionals from Wakulla and Franklin counties especially encouraged to attend.

Following the seminar, positive feedback was immediately received. The Sheriff’s Office stated, “The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office was glad to take part in the Safety Seminar coordinated by Rybak Realty, LLC and held at the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce. We appreciated the opportunity to join local businesses and community members to share important safety information and answer questions.” Ms. Odell of Rybak Realty noted it was very informative. Mrs. Frazier of Ketcham Realty shared her appreciation for being able to attend a class “down here” in Crawfordville.

Rybak Realty organized the seminar as part of its effort to support local real estate professionals and reinforce the importance of REALTOR® safety throughout the community. Appreciation goes to Heather Bryan with the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce, the guest speakers, and the real estate professionals and their guests in attendance: Jeremy Alday of D.R.
