KWCB with the Greatest American Cleanup
Keep Wakulla County Beautiful is inviting the community to take part in the Greatest American Cleanup as part of the nationwide effort to celebrate America’s 250th birthday. The initiative encourages residents, businesses, and organizations to help keep Wakulla County clean, beautiful, and thriving through local cleanup efforts and community involvement.
The nationwide campaign aims to remove litter, increase community engagement, and inspire communities across the country ahead of the July 4, 2026 celebration. Locally, Keep Wakulla County Beautiful is working toward goals of:
- 250 miles of adopted roads
- 250 trees planted across Wakulla County
- Community-wide cleanup efforts leading up to Independence Day
Community members are encouraged to:
- Sign the pledge to participate
- Clean up homes, businesses, and neighborhoods
- Share before-and-after photos
- Adopt a road or cleanup spot through KWCB and FDOT programs
As part of the initiative, Keep Wakulla County Beautiful will host a Community Cleanup & Celebration on:
📅 Saturday, June 13, 2026
