Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum at Carrabelle Beach is hosting a special exhibit commemorating the anniversary of D-Day. Opening on the Tuesday, June 3, the exhibit will be on display through Saturday, July 12. Camp Gordon Johnston trained Infantry Divisions in amphibious assault and the soldiers who trained here were put to the test on the heavily fortified beaches of Normandy, France on D-Day, June 6th, 1944 in the largest seaborne invasion in history. Guests are invited to learn about the battle and about Camp Gordon Johnston's role in its success. The museum is open every Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm.
