On April 25, 2025, the Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) will host our annual Youth and Community Outreach Golf Tournament at the beautiful new Wakulla Sands Golf Club in Crawfordville. This event has become a cornerstone of our community and youth outreach efforts, serving as a key fundraising initiative that supports a variety of programs aimed at strengthening our community. The proceeds from our tournament fund several important initiatives, including Project Graduation for Wakulla County’s graduating seniors. Sponsored by the WCSO, this annual program provides a safe, alcohol- and drug-free, supervised evening for seniors. The funds also support our annual Christmas in the Park celebration, where, thanks to the generosity of our donors, last year’s event provided Christmas presents to approximately 200 children in our community. Additionally, the funds support local initiatives such as sponsoring youth, middle, and high school sports teams, as well as assisting Wakulla’s many civic, student, and charity organizations throughout the year. By raising funds through the golf tournament and donations to the Community and Youth Outreach Fund, we are able to support these initiatives and do not use general funds or taxpayer dollars. Every dollar raised goes directly toward funding these vital programs, ensuring that our community benefits from every contribution. Additionally, donations to our Community and Youth Outreach Fund are graciously accepted year-round.
