Get ready for an exciting day where creativity meets competition at the inaugural Wakulla STEAM Maker Derby! Hosted by UF/IFAS Wakulla County Extension in partnership with the Wakulla County Public Library, Friends of the Wakulla County Public Library, Wakulla 4-H, Wakulla STEAM, and Wakulla County, this hands-on event brings together participants of all ages for a fun-filled day of innovation and racing. Participants will put their custom-built derby cars to the test as they race down the track while exploring the science behind speed, balance, aerodynamics, and engineering. Whether you're a future engineer, an experienced maker, or simply looking for a unique family activity, the STEAM Maker Derby offers an unforgettable experience that blends learning with friendly competition.
