Kids Fishing Derby 📅 Saturday, August 29, 2026 ⏰ 12:00–2:00 PM 📍 Woolley Park | Panacea, Florida Bring the kids out for a fun-filled day of fishing, prizes, educational activities and free food! Fishing Hours: Fish anytime from daylight Saturday until 2:00 PM anywhere in Wakulla or Franklin County. Participants must be in the weigh-in line by 2:00 PM. Check-In & Weigh-In: Woolley Park from 12:00–2:00 PM. Simply bring your fish to the weigh-in—no pre-registration is required! The first 150 kids who complete the educational booths or weigh in a fish will receive a free rod and reel and an event T-shirt. 🏆 Trophies and prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. 🌭 Free hot dogs, drinks and snacks will also be available. Even if you don't catch a fish, join us at Woolley Park for an afternoon of family fun!
