Big Bend Hospice: Turning Scars into Stars

Big Bend Hospice invites children ages 6 to 12 who have experienced the death of a loved one to join us for a special Camp Woe-Be-Gone Grief Odyssey at the Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee. 📅 Saturday, September 19, 2026 🕘 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 📍 Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee 200 S. Duval St., Tallahassee This one-day camp offers children a supportive place to learn about grief, connect with others who understand, and explore healthy ways to turn “scars into stars.” The loss does not have to be recent. A light breakfast, lunch, and T-shirt will be provided. There is no cost to attend, although donations are appreciated. New campers will receive priority, and returning campers are welcome as space allows. Space is limited, and registration is required.
