Join us as we celebrate an exciting milestone for Wakulla County with a Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the new Wakulla County Public Library! The Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce is proud to celebrate our members at the Wakulla County Board of County Commissioners and Wakulla County Library Services as they officially open the doors to this beautiful new facility on Tuesday, October 6th 9:00 AM. The new 12,500-square-foot library was designed with our growing community in mind, with dedicated children’s and teen spaces, public computers, gaming consoles, technology-ready furniture, educational and employment resources, a private telemedicine room, and more than 30,700 materials in its collection. And yes, the library’s resident chickens are making the move, too! We’re especially excited to celebrate alongside Library Services Director and Chamber Board Member Linda Oaks, who, along with her team and many community partners, has helped bring this new space to life. This is much more than a new building. It is a place for our community to learn, connect, access resources, and grow for years to come. Come celebrate with us, tour the new space, and help us officially cut the ribbon on the new Wakulla County Public Library!
